Care. Dance. Save
HEA, “Helping Every Angel”, was created to raise funds for local charities that support children with llife-threatening illnesses and their families.
HEA raises funds primarily by way of their Polynesian performing group and donations. The performance group consists of children ages 2.5 years of age and up. The children develop pride in their cultural heritage through song and dance and grow in confidence and self-worth. The dancers of HEA enjoy the unique experience of performing with the focus on helping children who are critically ill and their families.
Hea is a nonprofit, 501(C)3 Polynesian dance group based in Kahuku, North Shore of Hawaii.
Anuhea was in 2nd grade when she got diagnosed with cancer. Before that, she danced with her mom's, Maeva, Polynesian group Oriata. After she cleared from chemotherapy in 2011 her mom decided to change the dance group to HEA, Anuhea's nick name. Helping Every Angel was born.
